Lighter than a day cream but richer than an essence, serums are usually formulated with a high concentration of active ingredients, such as vitamin C derivative or hyaluronic acid. When it comes to formulation, serums are generally designed to treat a specific skincare concern, such as dry skin, dark spots or redness.
What does a face serum do?

Do I need both serum and moisturiser?
It depends on your needs and skin conditions. With a lighter texture, a serum is great if you want to deeply penetrate your skin, while a moisturiser is thicker and can highly hydrate the skin. We recommend using both serum and moisturiser, as they serve different purposes.
How do I apply a face serum?
After cleansing your face with your favourite cleanser and toner, there are 3 simple steps to apply your serum:
1. Warm the face serum in your hands
2. Apply gently to your face
3. Apply pressure to stimulate circulation
A face serum should be applied to freshly cleansed skin before you put on your face cream.

For example, use the Double Serum Light Texture in the morning, as its lightweight texture is quickly absorbed. Then apply classic Double Serum during your nighttime skincare routine. Or keep an intensely hydrating serum for the winter, and use a lighter one in the summer.
